MG TD TF 1500 - TF Sidecurtain compartment floor

A question regarding how the left and right floor pieces (bottom of storage compartment) are secured to the angle iron body frame just inboard of the rear wheels. Are there supposed to be some type of captive nut on the underside of the angle iron, or are the outer bolts secured with nuts and lock washers from the underside?

Cheap square nuts and spring washers. T nuts in the wooden supports for the removeable panel.
