20 Gs with a Datsun engine?

Interesting "vin#" (xpag13522). If that is on the tittle that way this could be a real nightmare! An Datson engine of unknown year or model..and not even a pic of of it. Nevermind buying a "vowel" ...somebody needs to buy a clue.

Its a 2-bow which makes it lower but I think the angle of the windshield has been increased, looks like it angles back more which lowers it as well. Its hard to figure out with so few pictures.

| The side flaps hang ridiculously low. Begs the nickname of "Beetle Bailey." BobbyG

Steve, I believe it is just that the hinge point on the frame has been mounted down much too low which flattens the roof line.
Barc Cunningham
Barc you're right on the mark! I went out and looked on my TD and the hinge point on it is only a couple of inches below the top of the tub. On this car it's a good 4-6 inches lower. BobbyG

Also the hood appears to be mounted inside the tub at the rear. It could also be a hood for a three bow frame. What about the overall width at the front as the overhang is too much. It might be a hood fitted by a shoe maker.
