MG TD TF 1500 - TD dash handle

I now have a few of the dash handles back in inventory. These are the reproductions of the old MG Mitten curved dash handles from the early 1950s. Cast in white bronze and triple chrome plated, the handles are flawless. 6" overall length, and stand out from the dash 2" with the shape following the scuttle curve and the MG logo on the lower end. $58 plus postage. Available in both RH and LH versions depending which side of the car your passenger sits...or can be mounted as a pair.

It might be an optical illusion, but does the area where the MG emblem is and where the lower screw mounts, flat with the dash?? From the picture, it doesn't look flat... Is the shank of the mounting screw visable when looking at the handle from the side???

hello steve, i have one..and it is an optical illusion. it is flat with the dash..on mine, no screw shank visible when installed. regards, tom

Hi Steve,

Both Tom and Gordon have answered and I can assure you the handles mount flat to the dash. BTW, I have sold out of both RH and LH handles and will take names for a wait list. I should receive the next batch in late February or early March 2012.
