MG TD TF 1500 - SU Rebuild Kit Question

I purchased an SU rebuild kit from Moss - part #375-228 for the TF. There are four black rubber bushings about an inch in diameter with an extending smaller diameter around the hole. Anybody know what those are for? Something for an XPEG? I am used to ending up with extra pieces at the end of a project, but not at the beginning.
