MG TD TF 1500 - Started the new engine 8^)
Steve Neal and Tom Latta ( both MGT wizards )came over today and we cranked her over for the first time since 1974. What a thrill and the sound was just beautiful. Now it is all downhill getting ready for the first race at Limerock on May 4. Whoopee!!!!!!!

James.. Might I suggest leaving a bit more freedom in the cappilary tube at the radiator. It appears to not have wiggle room.

Jim Not being a racer, can you tell me what the two units are under the carbs? BTW. Very nice looking motor
Bruce Cunha
Bruce. Catch tanks required by most racing clubs to catch anything coming out of the valve cover, side tappet cover or the radiator overflow. Cheers, JL

Interesting inlet "Blocks" and ballancing tube.. SPW

That's a beautiful engine. Can we see any pics of the car? I'm up at Lime Rock a lot too. ( As a spectator only boohoo) I'd keep an eye out for you.

Jim, Get rid of the fan (blades). You don't need them for racing. You're just looking for trouble. Or if you feel insecure with that, replace those "hand-choppers" with an MGB 7-bladed plastic fan ... a lot lighter and safer, but still not needed at racing speeds. Gord Clark Rockburn, Qué.
