MG TD TF 1500 - Shoulda, woulda, coulda ...
Shoulda : Maybe "look" at the title/paperwork before you decide to sell it? Woulda : Been nice if you had a "clue" before you wrote the ad? Coulda : Had some chance of getting rid of it if you did the above? http://columbus.craigslist.org/cto/2577611918.html Did they make a repla-car of a 1953 TD back in 1935 that I didn't know about? I ask for a picture of the engine just for grins. Anybody want to guess the "location" of it?

So frustrating to find these ads, when you are actually trying to buy or sell a classic....Gives everyone a bad name.... Leaves the unaware buyers with the impression that all the "T" series are "kit cars".... I hate it when car-show spectators ask me if my TD is a kit car...sends chills up my spine. Same thing happens with replica "Cobras"...I own one, and built it myself...When I register at a show, I call it a Factory Five roadster... Many others who own them , register them as "Shelby Cobras"...NOT! Edward

I was at a car show recently with my Lotus Europa. Another guy came up and said "I'm the guy with the other Lotus". Really? I hadn't seen one... "It's the Caterham". With a Honda engine.
