Sorry...had the wrong info in my 'paste'.....
gblawson(gordon- TD27667)
The car's eBay number: 220874516575

Why sad?
Mort 1950 TD Möbius
...I would say that when a body is held together and in place with a frame of 2x4's, its pretty well toast.....(always hate to see a rusty bunch of rockers.....)

Beyond sensible repair or restoration, IMHO. A $1500 parts car (although the engine is probably frozen...) Tonm Lange Bar Harbor, Maine

Beyond sensible repair is probably correct. I of course had no sense when I did mine.

Job well done, and thanks for saving that wonderful car. David

I believe it was a lake find. It looks like the whole bottom of the tank is rusted away and half of the back apron has been eaten away as well.

Gordon, I saw the video before the correction. I thought the car was sad because of going to your grandfather's old stomping ground! If you didn't see it, look under my "Lake Mirror Show" thread to see a really sad TD. George
