MG TD TF 1500 - Rocker arm shafts

Does the 14" and 14 7/8" shaft have common oil inlet/outlet ports?

Gene, do you know what benefits were achieved with the later springs, rocker arms and longer shaft length?

Jim what I've learned is the extra length allowed the rocker arms to increase bearing length 1/4'. 1st,4th,5th and 8th. The newer spring probably allows for addition of thrust washers.
