MG TD TF 1500 - Rare 54 TD on eBay
There is a "rare" TD on eBay right now. It is a '54. It is about a thousand before my '53 in production. I've never seen a '54 TD before... 270865779911 I looked at it for my possable Rolls Royce V8 conversion, but it still has the engine and transmission, and I just can't do that to the car. There is also a basket case TF without an engine or a transmission, but I think it is a little too rough to be my project car. -David

Another case of tittled by year of "sale" instead of year of "made". Quite common on these cars. My "55" TF was made Oct 1954. Years ago on this board someone had a TF tittled as a 1959. BTW: That one looks like it's not for someone faint of heart.

I once saw a magazine feature about a "1949 TF". Must have been one of the prototypes ;-)

'54, why else does the seller describe it as RARE X 3!
David Werblow
Rare rare rare was the way it was described at the auction he bought it at? (those guys say everything 3 times!) Or maybe because of the rare "clown-fish" color sceme on the grill?

A retired college instructor that can't spel?
