MG TD TF 1500 - oil pan clutch stud

Does anyone recall if the clutch stud mounted on the left hand and and right hand side of the oil pan thread in or do you have to remove pan as it has a nut on opposite side of pan? Left really worn and right brand new. Obviously a left hand drive. Exchanged them 40 years ago but can't remember.

You have to take the pan off. See pic Cheers Phil

Just screws in as far as I remember, switched mine when I rebuilt the car

Ours was worn so I immediately went to the Moss catalog. Then I realized that the car came from the factory with a spare. Sort of like finding money in a long unused coat.
Safety? Fast?
