MG TD TF 1500 - Need used speedometer for my '52 TD
| If you have a working used speedometer (dished face, Jaeger) for a TD, I am interested in buying it... I know I can get the old one repaired, but I don't want a hole in the dash for a month... Thanks Edward |

| E.B., I have one that I cleaned up/rebuilt myself out of my 52. I don't want to sell it but I would be interested in lending it to you for a few months. That way you would not have a hole in your dash while you got yours repaired and I would find out if mine worked. Let me know. Patrick |

| Patrick That is very generous of you.... I have posted on the MG Experience forum , in the classifieds, and will know shortly if anyone has one for sale, (reasonably), there.... I checked with Nisonger, but based on the current condtion of my speedo, I have a feeling it will be cheaper to find one for sale... I notice that Nisonger is in N.Y., and I want to wait till the storm passes , to call and make sure he is still o.k. I will let you know in a few days, if I will be taking you up on your offer. I'm so "bummed" about this...argh! |

| Thanks all, for the info, and Patrick for the offer.... I have found a good used unit, at a fair price, and the owner has agreed to take my old unit in partial trade, making it a good deal....Using "PayPal" gives me a better margin of safety, as well.... Meanwhile, I have made a "blanking plate", so there is no big hole in the dash...(photo attached). Edward
