MG TD TF 1500 - Need Help From SoCal

I a trying to trace some history of TD18337 which I acquired in pieces in 2004. Apparently this was a stalled restoration by the previous owner who I was told had owned the car for 30 years or so, with most of the time spent in the San Diego area (the car was in Portland, OR when I bought it). The story I was given was the restoration stopped when the owner suffered a fatal heart attack. The names on the California Title are Joy Marie or Jan J Andrews with an address in San Diego. The title was issued to them in March 1974. Does anyone have any knowledge of this car?
