MG TD TF 1500 - MGA carbs? TF

Have a chance to pick up a pair of rebuilt MGA 1500 carbs for zilch! Are they the same as on the 1500 TF? PJ

The linkage that moves the needle is not the same but that is easily changed. The needle is a GJ for the TF1500.

Very easy to do. I have a set on my TF. Not building a museum piece, I didn't change the linkage or the needle. If you don't have them; you will only need the throttle lever from the T-type (Moss 370-195) and the MGA choke bracket(Moss 372-160). No one has ever noticed that the linkage is not MG TF.

I have a set of MGA carbs on my TD, and used the original TD linkage to hook them up. It would be the same for the TF XPAG and XPEG blocks.
