MG TD TF 1500 - MG TD in Oslo today
We had wonderful autumn weather in Oslo, Norway, today, and I had to take the now well-running car downtown. Here is an image of the car in the harbour.

Great photo Raymond. Your photo reminded me of the total of 5 weeks I spent in Norway. Loved the country and the people. I hope to return someday. Enjoy the ride -- John

I love the "tall ship" in the background. You can see the tree masts and the yardarms. All tied together with a triatic stay. Cheers, Bob

The tall ship's name is Christian Radich. Built in 1937 as a training vessel for seamen to be. Rivetted steel hull. After the German occupation of Norway in 1940 the ship was taken to Hamburg, and served there as an officers bar (and brothel?) lying alongside at quay until it was sunk during a British bombing raid. Was rescued and restored after the war and is still doing duty as a training vessel and competing in the Tall Ships Races, winning for the fifth time in 2010. The Christian Radich is well known through the international release in 1958 of the Cinemiracle widescreen movie Windjammer: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Windjammer_(1958_movie) It is such a lovely ship, white hull and white sails. Making the combo with a white TD a real Kodak moment! You can do a virtual tour of the ship here: http://www.virtualnorge.com/christian_radich/christian_radich.html (Downloads a bit slow, go for high resolution and use navi bar at RH bottom corner regards Jan
