MG TD TF 1500 - Latest TD List from George Merson

Bud - thanks for posting that very useful up-dated list. As someone who maintains Mark II lists, I am well aware of the time needed and complications inherent in maintaining such an extensive and accurate list.

I recently wrote George to point out that 22 of the 123 Mark II cars on his list are really TD2 cars, as verified by my lists and the production records at http://www.tregister.org/search_prod.php

I see all those cars are still on George's list, and am sure he will be verifying the Mark II indication and removing them if, as I suggest, they are not really Mark II cars. This is very much a case of garbage-in-garbage-out, as he must generally rely on the information supplied to him.

Bud, you could try contacting Doug Hastie via the T Register on the MGCC of Victoria website for an update of his Australian register. I have a copy of his latest register book and there are several cars not on the Merson list.

Also we can change the owners name of TD11167 from G.Bates to Imogene Magilton. My wife has recently inherited her late Fathers car.
