Lava Lamps? Nixion Head Bongs? The Holy Grail?

(The mind bogles with the possibilities)

Well I would not pay more than $1,750. Maybe $2K if it came with the original packaging.

These wheels would probably work well on many of the perion ETCETERENIES, including SIATA, CISITALIA, MORETTI, etc.

Gotta love it......

I like em but the starting price is way to high. they would have to be repaired and maybe rechromed or polished and that would cost. THat given, usually Boranis go for a lo t more if they are new. Someone told me once that a Borani wheel is about 2 grand per.
Tom Maine (TD8105)

Darn ...my hope were high for a 2nd matching "Nixon Head Bong"! LOL
David Sheward

I don't know what the starting price was but it couldn't have been too high based on the bid now (not my auction, btw). You're getting a real piece of history...I've seen Borani wheels before but only steel, not alloy...and I've never seen drums (Borani also??) like that other than Alfins and those don't look like Alfins.
Gene Gillam

With you on the drums, Gene. Opening price was 356.00-only 10X that now.

Too late for this one Dave.....unused? Whats up with that? Sure didn't belong to Hunter S. T. then.

Yikes ...I should go dig around in the attic.
I threw that out there because some friends were talking about strange "politicial pieces" the other day and I remembered this one. They didn't believe me. (youts')
Wonder what one in "survivor condiction" is worth!
Think I paid something like $8.00 (or less) for it.

If anybody decides to take theirs out of "retirement" here's a song for you ...from the same era!
This was on TV the night we brought "TDB" home:

Ahh the 60's ..what a wonderful tyme.

I sold my last set of Borranis, adapters and knock-offs a couple of years ago for $1,000. VERY little interest in them! They sold to an Arnolt owner.

I've also never seen the drums, but would love to find a set! Anyone out there have any to sell?
