MG TD TF 1500 - In front of a landmark

I put on the sides yesterday and was surprised how much warmer it was to drive. So I took it to a famous landmark today, the Holmenkollen ski jumping hill, probably the most famous ski jumping hill in the world. It looks nicer when the snow has arrived, but then the MG is hibernating.

I drive like this often and it makes all the difference..... without them, I also use the 'spats' that came with the car when I bought it....

This is the first time I see "spats"...
Do they help much? I think it would be easy to have them made.

Can/would you elaborate a bit more regarding the "spats?" Source(s), price range, etc.

...very simple to make....and use the same lift a dot fasteners as the tonneau cover.... and yes...they make a huge difference....as much as the whole sidecurtain......
