MG TD TF 1500 - Helicoil insert sizes
| I know there has been a lot of talk about helicoil inserts, however can anyone tell me the size I need for the air inlet manifold nuts on a TD. TIA Regards Mick 52 TD |

| Mick M8x1 if you mean to repair the tapped holes in the air inlet manifold. You can buy a kit with 10 inserts, drill, tap, and insertion and tang removal tools from Uni-thread. Did it last year - very straightforward. Dave |

| Do you mean the wing nut, the manifold support rod or the manifold-to-carb bolts? Tom |

| Thanks Dave and Tom It is the Carb to Manifold bolts and I thought it was M8 but I wanted to be sure before ordering them. Regards Mick |
