MG TD TF 1500 - generator rebuild
| Since I refurbished the generator I thought I might as well change out the bearing. It is a sealed bearing and although it is the same thickness as the original it leaves a small amount of room between the bearing and the retaining clip. The original bearing had a metal washer on either side of the bearing with an o ring in between. Should I try and replace the washers or do you think a longer spacer would be better? Rob |

| Rob, What model dynamo is it and for what car? Model no. should be on the body of the casing eg C39, C45, etc. The pulley end bearing varied in it's housing on different models. Once you give more info. an answer can be suggested! Cheers, John |
