MG TD TF 1500 - Early or late ammeter

Can anyone tell me approximately when, during the production run, ammeters changed from 20/20 to 30/30? TIA

Tom,
For what its' worth, my car "came out" on Nov 7, 1950 and has the 20/20 ammeter, Chassis No. 4224. Purhaps if others can give you this information on their cars, you will be able to narrow it down to when the change occured.

Tom - The change took place Oct. 5 1951 at car number 10751. Cheers - Dave

I think that is also the number where they changed to the dished faced instrumets. George
