MG TD TF 1500 - Door check rubber washer

Moss #405-500, "Door Check" has a rubber washer assembly on the end. Mine are history. Part does not show up separatly in catalog however. You must buy 2 new checks at $25 each. Any ideas where to get just the rubber end piece?

It has been a long time but I believe I purchased a set of stabilizer rubbers (sold separately from and for the stabilizer bar assembly).

My problem is; was it from Moss, # 281-158 or ASL, # AAA 1316s ? It's been a while !

I know they are 5/16" ID and you get two spares in the bargain.

Just a thought, probably someone else will have a better solution.

Efh: I think if you go to your local ACE or True Value type hardware store you will be able to find rubber washers that will work on the stops. Just find something that is thick, they are only rubber bumpers.

Hardware store ... I "flanked" mine with steel washers on both sides of the washer.
Can't recall if a found right size or cut them out from a sheet using a hole saw.
