MG TD TF 1500 - Cars 2

OK gearheads and MG enthusiasts- go see the flick!! It is a car nut's dream moviein general. Then you throw in the plot twists, Whitworth, a British vehicle leaking oil, and NOS British parts- wow! David Hobbs and Darrel Waltrip annoucing neat, as well as tribute to Paul Newman (Dr. Hudson). Happy 4th everyone!!George

And about 10% as much fun as the original (despite it's British theme). It felt like about 5 movie ideas crammed into one loud, chaotic 2 hours, because the writers finally figured out that none of the 5 was really good enough to stand on it's own. I had to see it twice (my kids, 9 and 11...), and I didn't like it much more the second time.

But the bolt heads were marked BSW!

Of course you have to consider that Blazing Saddles and Airplane are two of my all time favorite movies. If I saw it twice with a 9 and 11 year old I would probably feel the same way you do, certainly by the second time! Did you see the 3D version? That was pretty cool. George

Airplane is one of those movies where no matter how many times you see it, there is going to be something new the next time you see it again:)

Just in case there is "some-other" fan of airplane that has never seen it. (I only found it a few years ago)
You must ...I repeat, MUST, find and watch "Zero Hour"
(1953 classic).
You will not believe your eyes/ears!

Sorry to hear that about Cars II. The first one is one of a handfull of movies I keep in the garage and have on all the time.
I might scare some of you if I told you what the others are! LOL
