MG TD TF 1500 - Care & Feeding - Rubber/Vinyl
| From the "Mobius" thread: Randy's idea " "how to treat, recover, maintain the various rubber parts on an MG" should get it's own thread!" These are the two products I have been using for years with good results. The "Blaster" (on right) is what I used to remove the "chaulky white" from new cowl rubber. Pretty sure it is made by same folks that make "PB Blaster" penatrating spray.(I like that better than WD-40 for rusted nuts) "303" (on left) was recomended by my hood installer that also does custom interiors. (He is Not a fan of Armor All ...like myself) At one time they offered a "sample kit" on their website. Not sure if they still do that? I buy it from local shop mentioned above. Slightly higher cost than "AA" ...but, IMHO, worth it.

| OBTW : I believe both of these say "good for convertable windows" ...but I still use Lemon Pledge on mine as well as on my plexaglass wind wings. Been doing that since the 60's and my hood installer uses it on his as well. (Wipe in one direction only) Shinny side up...rubber side down. |
