MG TD TF 1500 - Carburettor Lid

I have just removed the lid to check the forks etc.

Not happy!

The forks are seriously bent and worn through where the valve presses on them.

More importantly, and following on from my earlier question about tickler pins, the number under the lid is AUD2283 and AUD2284.

The SU web site says these are 'Miscellaneous Part'.

The numbers for the TF1500 are given as

Later Style: AUE998 and AUE999 (with a tickler pin in the lid)

as an alternative set

AUE478 and AUE479

I would welcome your advice on what is going on here, and which is the most appropriate item to purchase?
