MG TD TF 1500 - Buffer screw size

There is a rubber buffer between the top bow vertical support and the upper part of the rear side curtain frame. What is the screw size to attach the buffer to the vertical support?

Dan, On my car, there were two small slothead brass self tapping woodscrews sitting in the small holes in each vertical support. They seemed rather crude but appeared to be original, as they had been painted over for years and I always wondered what they were for, until I later found the missing rubber bumpers in a box of parts that came with the car. The holes were not threaded, so a self tapper would seem logical. Hope this helps. Cheers Phil
