MG TD TF 1500 - Bill Hirsch Engine Paint

Anyone know the number for the maroon engine paint from Bill Hirsch? I'm told it's a better quality than the Moss paint. I've searched the Hirsch site and found their engine enamel, but can not find the maroon paint. Any clues? PJ

Bill Hirsh V-8021 MG Maroon Engine Enamel Hi Gloss Hi Temp

This is less glossy (perhaps semi-gloss) and distinctly more maroon than the Moss enamel. It provides excellent flow and hiding characteristics.

pj, the paint flows out like butter, sticks like glue. good stuff. seems impervious to heat, and all fluids. regards, tom

Compare price and color of Rustoleum Bergundy spray paint. I used on my engine years ago and it still looks great.

POR-15 also makes an MG Maroon Engine. I have found it very tough stuff.

Give 'Dark Canyon Red'(think its a Ford colour) from Dupli Color a try.....exact match for an MGB engine (if they are the same)!
