MG TD TF 1500 - Behind seats luggage compartment
Anyone have drawing, dimensions or info to build a behind the seats luggage compartment for a T series? My brother Doug has a 1959 Morgan 4-seater and we plan to modify the dimensions to suit his application. Very little activity on Morgan site. Thanks in advance, Rick Constant, TD2053

No drawings...I kind of did mine "to fit". Biggest word of caution I could offer would be to make sure the frame for the hood (top) has enough room to retract fully. (I almost made that mistake) I raised mine up just below the hood frame. The extra room has come in handy and has a lock on it so my spares are secure. Only "downside" was I had to move the starting crank to a new possition as not enough room on rear wall of the tub now. Put the "clips" on the top of the box and in one of those pictures you can see (off to right side) I now use it to prop the lid open when getting side curtains in / out of there. Much easier than holding it open with my head while fumbling with the curtains. May have some other pics if you want me to look can email them to you. hootersvilledavid "at" yahoo "dot" com.

Dave & Gordon, thanks to the both of you. It kind of gives us an idea, doing it "to fit". Doug plans to use it to carry their bags for a trip because with bags on his rack he has 0-0 visability to the rear. If anyone finds any other info on making a compartment, let me know. Thanks again, Rick Constant TD2053
