MG TD TF 1500 - Axle sealed bearing number?

Hi All:
Does anyone have a current part number for a sealed bearing for the halfshaft - NAPA prefered as the local "BC Bearing" wants over $200 for a pair.

John,

Here's the info I think you need on sealed real axle Wheel bearings:-

Original made in England R & M 35650 MJ 1-¼
replacement made in Austria Steyr RMS10
NAPA replacement GRW 118

INNER CARRIER BEARING
original R & M LJ T35
replacement SKF 7207 B G

WHEEL BEARING SEAL
NAPA 16719

PINION SEAL
NAPA 15142

SPEEDI SLEEVE
99142

I'm lucky as I live only 10 minutes from the US border and 20 minutes from a US NAPA. However I'm sure NAPA in Canada use the same numbers.

Hello,
I just bought one from R&M in the UK. He did some research and found that the original bearing was an imperial size. Most people use a close metric equivalent.

He got me a Hoffman sealed bearing in that size, but it wasn't cheap.

"The manual shows a listing for 2 pieces of Rear Hub bearing - and that
bearing is reference MJ1.1/4 - dimensionally much similar to the bearing you
originally asked for, but Imperial and not Metric."

Supposed to get it installed next week.

Hoffman still has imperial sizes.

Also, check RHP, MJ 1 1/4-2RSJ, I think that is a sealed bearing.

Thanks All:
I gave up and put the original bearing back in along with a new seal. Seems to be holding O.K. but will get sealed bearings if it leaks again so will keep all your info as reference.
