MG TD TF 1500 - Att, Robert Finucane
| Hi Bob, I was reading about Spitfires in The Battle of Britain and learned that one of the leading RAF Aces was a Paddy Finucane (his pr. Finn ooh' kin) born in Dublin. Had 32 kills by age 21. Have you ever seen him in your list of ancestors? Oh, by the way, I bought my first antique auto, a 52 TD, six years ago at age 76 shortly after a quad by-pass and just renewed my driver's license so I can drive it till I'm 88 and then I hope to renew it for another six years. My Dr. says that desire is what keeps me young. Regards, George Metz Cheshire,CT |

| George, Have heard of him but not sure if we are related. My father began the war as a Navy pilot at Pearl Harbor flying (and crashing) PB-Ys and through his career flew something like 140 different aircraft retiring as Capt. Finucane. Also Capt. with Pan Am after the war. Flying may be our blood connection. Bob |
