MG TD TF 1500 - Atlanta, Ga MG club?
I understand an MG club in Atlanta, Ga does rear conversions as a project and usually does one in a weekend. It would save me from doing it and I can drop off mine to them and pick it up when done. How do I get in touch with them? I've found various clubs in Ga, but not sure of the right one. PJ

pj, i do not think they do it as a business or do units sent in. they have made it part of their monthly club activity. the member or members who are having it done host the monthly meeting and get assistance from fellow club members. perhaps an idea for you would be to organize a similar activity for the local MG club to which you belong. a win-win as they say. you could get help doing yours while helping other club members do theirs. have you acquired an MGA pumpkin yet? if you just want someone to do it, i believe dave clark on this posting board has set up ops to do this. regards, tom

P S Jennings The club you are referring to is a regional not local club. We have members in Georgia, North and South Carolina, Tenn, Florida, etc. We are the Southeastern MG T Register and have 165 Active members thruout the Southeast . Note that we have 20 members in South Carolina. The Club has held technical sessions on converting rear ends as a club activity for members only and usually convert 4 or 5 a Saturday, using the owner and 3 or more "experts" to o he conversion. We do not do this commercially> Recently, we lost our access the the machine shop at Holcombe Armature company and have had to suspend these Tech sessions until we can again find access to adaquate facillities. You should join the SEMGTR, see our Website at www.semgtr.org and make contact with the other T owners in South Carolinia. If you email me your email address I will send you the contact information you were asking about including our Monthly newsletter mgTalk Don Harmer Editor, mgTalk SEMGTR 770-457-4566

Hello PJ If you feel like shipping the diff, I can do it. I've had units come in from as far away as Hawaii. I've done around 100 conversions so far and have 5 at the house currently being done. Butch Taras VMG
