MG TD TF 1500 - Another hood / bonnet support

Was at the spring GOOF for the OMGTR and saw another interesting bonnet support bar....

Saw that one in your pic's ...looks like the bottom pole from a set of alum crutches to me.

That is the similar to mine, but I cut an old ski pole and put a rubber cup on the end. I used a piece of strong cord with a loop on the end to fit over the tool box clasp. It stores very nicely behind the tool box and is accessable from either side. The idea was borrowed from a friend in Vancouver. [thank you Brian] It works very well.
