More than a little harsh, don't you think? His 'thing' is to turn heads and this will certainly do that. A restored TD is certainly worth that. Sorry he didn't get it.

I think you guys are being too hard on this fellow. He's probably a John Deere mechanic and brought home some extra left over paint. Poor guy, you can't blame him for being thrifty! I agree, the engine should have been dark green, but the valve cover matches! Maybe he ran out of paint? EBay might have gotten the decimal point in the wrong place? It'd look great in the Halloween parade! Maybe even a St. Paddy's day celebration, so alls not lost! PJ

Deduct $6,000.00 for a new paint job, car has to be stripped and that's what it's worth. To me anyway. JMHO.

Trust me ...your lucky. Let's hope nobody saved a picture. It will be back, I advise dark glasses (or welding mask) before viewing.
Beautiful restoration ...but 2 tone bright yellow & green is real hard on the eyeballs.
