Thanks for the message Thoralf. Yes, a very good day to celebrate and the weather here in Olympia, Washington State is darn near perfect to make this an enjoyable day all around. Bar-b-que, family, and a few fireworks are all on the agenda for the day and evening.

Just got back from ours. Made it without overheating.

Any of you out there have a TD that was build on the 4th of July? From what I see, in 1950 it was a Monday, in 51 it was a Tuesday, in 52 it was a Thursday (must have been a leap year in there) and in 53 it was a Friday.

I skipped our parade on Friday (Canada Day), although have done it many times....very short and lots of fun giving out Canadian flags to the American tourists.....

We survived again. About 2 hours of moving along in first gear at idling speed (600-700 RPM). By the time we got to the reviewing stand the water temperature was about 97C, and the oil pressure was 40'ish psi. Ambient was about 80-85F. Thank you, Lazarus. Bud
