MG MGF Technical - WIPER POSITION

hi just finished repairing wiper motor i fitted 13mm nut onto linkage and set arms but when i operate wipers they go down past stop position approx one inch and then up to park position so arms are sitting slightly higher than standard have i set the arms wrong/has anybody else had this issue regards richard

Yes, unfortunately the Motor needs to be reset in park before the spindle is set to the wiper crank.

Don't worry, I did EXACTLY the same thing when I replaced the wiper motor on my car! LOL
