MG MGF Technical - window woes

hi,my drivers window has suddenly dropped, goes up and down in a strange manner,had a look at the regulator and it seems the parts have come apart (the bit where the guides that move meet,round apeture)cant find any missing nuts or anything to bolt together,so any ideas how they attach most appreciated, sorry for the rubbish description,thanks cliff

if it is in center hinge the spot welds have come apart common fault can be fixed you need to strip out window regulator and realign the hinged pieces with the spot welds and drill through them and resecure with small bolts and nuts did this after same failure in mgf 10 and still giong strong hope this helps richard
