MG MGF Technical - very small crack in rear screen
I have always looked after my rear window, taking care not to crease the plastic screen when I fold it down, but this morning I have noticed a small crack less than 25mm long and not through to the inside. Anyone any ideas about how I can stop this getting bigger or any repairs that do not involve replacing the screen?

HI, I had this, and eventually had the screen replaced. However, in the meantime, I found a good solution was to apply some Araldite on the edge of a Stanley knife blade. Nice and nest, an almost invisible repair and completely waterproof. There is also some special cleaner for rear plastic screens available on ebay, so once glued, you could use this to buff it over? Worth a shot.

I had a crack on my rear screen and I put some greenhouse repair tape on it. That lasted for four years. The screen has now split in several more places, so I have had to order a replacement.
