MG MGF Technical - Up date on shudder

Hi all
to help others that might search for this type of problem i have had it fixed
it was my right rear wheel bearing i went though many months of looking at all the things you were sugesting which realy helped me to understand my car
so what was the problem
when i traveled on a highway and got up to and past 80km i could feal a shudder i could not be sure were it was comming from front or back and it was not though the stearing wheel
i thought the tyres might be the problem
i thought the wheels might not be round
i thought the tie rods might be loose
i just didnt know
i had wheel balanceing done
i changed the wheels from back to front and back
at the end it was due for the yearly service
and i asked them to take it for a good long fast test drive not just around the block
and straight away thay new what was the problem
its funny only the 1 bearing had gone and they said on Fs it is nealy allways rear left side but not mine
it took them 1.75 hours to fix and the part cost $147
i drove it home last night and it was like new i now think it might of been like that for longer than i thought
hope this helps
i follow this site all the time and think it is importent that when people fix a problem from infomation from this site thay should finish off how it was fixed
thanks for your help and i will keep reading
