MG MGF Technical - U-Joints

Anybody had occasion to use VB u-joints p/n 5-551? They are no-go for '60 MGA as the heads are too high and won't seat without binding the joint. See pic... what a bummer. Tried installing the one so will not be able to return it for refund. The 5-551 part is the one closest to the ruler. The original is at the far left. Notice the dramatic difference in height. Stay away from Victoria British U-Joints...!!
