MG MGF Technical - tyre pressures

can anyone advise on pressures on 11 spoke 16s thanks richard
tg hardwick

I run the 195x45x16 and 215x40x16 Goodyear Eagle F1- GSD2's on my TF at 26 and 36, as recommended in the book ;)

Handles a treat.

It depends whether you have an F or a TF. TF seem to have higher pressures at the rear. I run 16" Trophy wheels with the same size of tyres as you, only Toyos, on my MGF (lowered, adjustable shocks and poly bushes). I find that 24psi front and 28psi at the rear suit my needs best. If I were you I'd start at 26psi front and 30psi rear (F or TF) and adjust to suit your own style of driving.

The answer is dependent upon the tyres used - and as DC says, also dependent on your driving style and many other variables. Personally 28 or 30psi all round works for me - but there's no harm to experiment :o)
