MG MGF Technical - Throttle body and squael
| Hi All, Been some time since I posted - but here I am back again :-) I recently bought a 56mm throttle body kit fir the car and installed tonight. All seemed to go well. I went for my first drive to test and loved the pick-up. However I have a problem - major problem actually. There is a very high pitched squeal coming from the back of the car in the engine compartment. It's constant but will go a little deeper and then disappear if I apply throttle. Once the throttle level is constant, the squeal returns. It doesn't seem to be speed related. Happens all the time but like I said, give the car some gas and the squeal goes away. Got me beat. Any ideas? It's really annoying and almost deafening internally to the car, let alone externally! Any advice/help appreciated. Cheers Sonny |

| Sonny This sounds like your fan belt. Miine does it sometimes when its wet. Get it tightened up a little and you will find the noise goes. |
