MG MGF Technical - TF Hood

Advice please. Trying to lower the hood of our TF135 now that the sun is out.Problem it folds back as far as the wind stop but will not go completely down. Lubricated all? joints in the frame and moved hood back and forwards to no avail. Rear window fully un zipped.It is almost as though there is a catch to release.Any ideas. Thanks

A common problem is the first roof support hoop back from the header rail can jam the mechanism,move this up when folding the hood down,should drop down fine "Anti Jamming straps" are available on ebay for around £10.

Many thanks for the reply, it worked!Thought that the straps were fitted to a TF as opposed to an F which was why I was puzzled that the hood was jammed. Found the straps on ebay and will buy some. Thanks again.
