MG MGF Technical - speedometer removal
I have a speedometer in a 1972 MGB that "bouncys'.All I want to do is remove the speedo cable and, lubricate it.Is there an easy way to access this cable other than having tiny fingers to manipulate the two nuts to remove speedo . Thanks

Could just be the speedo cable is a tad loose. Did have that problem with a "B" years ago ...

Many years ago i did the same thing all that happened was the lubricant work it,s way up into the speedo head and made the needle jump from 0 to 30. In the end i had to replace both . i would recommend replaceing the speedo cable completely. Regards Roger
