MG MGF Technical - Spax?

Are the Spax (at £200 a set, compared with VHS/Bilsteins at £500 a set) any good?

I've an MY04 TF160, nods like a donkey...

The handling is great, ride is awful.

Neil,
I have never driven a TF fitted with the Spax kit, although I have removed a set in order to fit a VHS kit. If you have a damper kit fitted by VHS Ltd and you don't like the result, then they can be removed free of charge.

I'm sure I will like the result, but I'm wondering whether I will like the result £300 more than the Spax! Impossible to tell, of course, without back-to-back testing. Just wondered if anyone else had tried both.
