MG MGF Technical - Soft Top - sponge rubber strip

At the rear end of the soft top there is a sponge rubber strip which will be destroyed when lifting the top to work on the engine.
I can't find any parts number.
Can anybody help me.

The later Tops were made by Bas International. http://www.bas-international.com They will supply raw materials.

You can buy this from almost any hardware shop. It is called a "Draught Excluder Foam Weather Strip self adhesive" or "sealing foam tape". It has a self adhesive side which you expose by peeling off a plastic strip before you use it. You can buy 10 mters for about 2 quid. Buy a black or dark colour.
