MG MGF Technical - Rear Track Control Arms

I have recently had my mgf mot'd and it failed on the ball joint on the end of the passengers side rear track control arm, this is similar to a normal track rod end and I was absolutely horrified to get quoted £171 +VAT for a complete arm, does anyone know of a company that does this as a copy part rather than having to go robber, sorry meant rover!!!

Well, they sold it to you below the current price which is £173.89 plus VAT. No consolation, I know. The front TRE can be bought separately, but not the rear.

MGR would buy an assembly in from a sub-contractor and only offer the assembly as a spare.
The sub-contractor would have made it up from the rods and adjustor which he probably manufactured plus standard end fittings.
