MG MGF Technical - rear caliper
| noticed today the drivers rear caliper has been sicking on stripped it off wound piston back and found the caliper carrier pistons (the 2 rods with the 12 mm bolts in ) the top one was siesed has anyone else had this issue cleaned it up and regreased checked other side and was fine |

| I believe seizure problems with the handbrake mechanism are quite common and replacement of rear caliper is often the only solutions |

| handbrake is fine just the top o/s/r guide i have cleaned it up and regreased it will recheck in a few weeks |

| Brake caliper guide pin seizure it a fairly common problem on all cars not just the MGF,remove the pins clean and lubricate with anti seize grease annually. |
