MG MGF Technical - OAT

A success story. Three years ago I changed my 97 VVC to OAT antifreeze. This was despite dire warnings on this BBS about mixing different technologies.

At the time I flushed the system three times with fresh water, allowing the engine to fully heat up each time.

I thought a change after three years would be a good idea and this went without a hitch this weeekend. The old coolant was still clear with no sign of any sludge.

So now I will leave it for 4-5 years.
