MG MGF Technical - Number plate light

Is it possible to buy the lens/bulb holder bit of the number plate light as opposed to a new ( expensive) whole light inc casing and wire or a secondhand one on Ebay?

I've got a funny feeling that the inards of the number plate light are moulded into the casing.

However, there are a few currently on eBay.
