MG MGF Technical - MGF Mesh
I have read threads before regarding the use of the Ebay Aluminium mesh for the MGF, I did notice on arrival that the gaps were quite small and as such have been concerned that the airflow may not be enough, anyone out there with experience of the ebay kits?

Aluminium mesh looks crap, get stainless steel woven mesh with 1/2" spacing. Google for likely suppliers - I have done two complete Fs from a square metre and have enough for another two left over. The F is way overcooled anyway so even with plasterer's alumesh an OEM rad should be Ok.

We have a genuine MGF kit for sale, this consists of the two front bumper grilles in woven stainless and the two matching side grilles, these kits are rare now and are no longer avaialble from MG Rover. Dave Kar-Solutions

I thought about doing this, but then bought a tin of silver hammerite and painted the existing mesh. Mask off carefully, and for an hours work it looks great.
