MG MGF Technical - MGF Fuel Gauge

My MGF Fuel Gauge is stuck at Half Tank, with ignition on or off. Any ideas?

Sound like the tank sender needs looking at.
Not removed one myself but that is the place to start, once you have it out, raise and lower the float arm and check the gauge for movement, it could be as simple as a stuck float.
